Where is the best place to buy a rotating assembly i want a 396 stroker i want the best price. I have a shop around me that will do the work or maybe i can find a good deal on a fully assembled short block. Let me know

IMO you should probably be looking at a shortbock from Victory or Golen. I have seen SEVERAL posts speaking of Victory being a great shop to work with recently, if I was in the market right now I would be buying from them. Hard to beat them price wise as well since a forged 396 assembly is gonna run about 1600-1800 anyway, plus block work and assembly. I always think it is good to go with a shop that has a good reputation for these engines, and it seems as if Victory (and golen) both have very good reputations and competitive prices. Just my .02
