In the past week or so I've been getting a vibration coming through, much more than normal, when the car is cruising or accelerating/decelerating in the 1500-2000 RPM range. I have not checked many things because I'm not sure where to start. Maybe check if tranny mount is trashed? It feels like it's coming more from the mid/rear of the car, any way it might be something like the differential?

 

My car behaved that way for a while, and then one day my 10 bolt blew during a 2-3 shift. There was an EXTREME amount of vibrating right before it happened.

 

make sure the bolts are tight on the torque arm where its mounted to the rear, you may want to check your u joints, possibly drive shaft out of balance?

 

So you had virbation issues in that same RPM range? It literally stops almost as soon as I hit 2100 RPM or go down to 1400 RPM.

 

I had a similar problem. It was the passenger side front engine mount. Difficult to change.

 

Hrmmm, looks like there are a few different possibilities. Anything I can look for/check easily to narrow it down? I want to try to avoid throwing parts at it until it's fixed. Thanks a lot for all your help!
