Strange prob with electrical fans

94z28 auto

here's the deal. I had the plastic side tank replaced on my radiator. After i installed the radiator i decided to flush my cooling system. my fans wont even come on anymore(yes, i made sure i reconnected them after the install) when my car gets to operating temperature. if i turn on my air conditioner the fans will come on right away, but otherwise it will let the temperature get up until the red mark and then i get scared and turn off the engine.

whats the deal?

Probably an air pocket in the system that might be affecting the temp sensor in the water pump. Try bleeding air out of the system, again.

What is your definition of "operating temperature?" Stock fans don't come on until ~215.
