Strange Issue
I've been chasing a misfire for about 3 months now. The car was running rough here and there, but now after 30 min of continuous driving it misfires till it dies and then does not start for 20 min. I have replaced all know problems and I am stumped now. When I replaced the opti a good amount of oil came out of the vent??
Replaced:
Opti, ICM, Coil, Fuel Pump, Cleaned Maf, Scanned comp no codes.
Car runs ok till it heats up, then idle bounces around, and just before it dies the car wil idle around 500 and wont accelerate without popping and hesitation. Sometimes its hard to start in the morning after sitting all night. Any ideas?

I would suspect heat affecting the culprit. 20min is enough time to heat soak things like wires, coil and it allows for bigger leaks in voltage from those items. Also, even though you replaced the fuel pump you need to double check your pressure. I've seen lots of pumps fail right out of the box or shortly after.
