are stock WS6 wheels 16x8 or 16x8.5.

I want to get 275 series tires, and the tires would fit fine on 8.5 inch wheels but i would have a belly on 8 inchers.

i'm sorry, i meant a 96 WS6...they are deffinately 16 inchers, but i dont know how wide they are.

I have '96 satin WS6 wheels. They are 17x9. Some of the early WS6 convertibles came with 16x8 wheels. Nothing more than stock the regular 16x8 five spoke wheels. The center cap say ABS.

 

SS and WS6 wheels are 17x9

 

I always though it was 17x8.5 but it could be 17x9, either way they both fit 275 tires.

 

Only the 1997 WS6 convertibles came with 16x9 wheels. As a matter of fact, I don't think they were even outfitted with the WS6 package. If I'm not mistaken, they were refered to as the Ram-Air convertible. I think they came with the regular suspension package.
