First of all, that is one sweet car you bought It said it has a slp exhaust. Maybe it's just the stock one it came with?

I like them sun covers on the t-tops.

Yeah I just don't know what kind of upgraded exhaust came on the WS6's or if this even looks like something that came from factory. Sorry if I'm too noob here I was just wondering if this was a good exhaust like the SLP dual, dual or 2OTL. Or if it's restrictive like a stock LT-1 exhaust and will need upgrading ?

The exhaust is just an SLP free flowing exhaust that came with all WS6 cars. It's definitly an exhaust that flows better than the stock GM crap that come with any other LT1, but I would suggest upgrading it if you buy the car. Definitly looks nice, but I think it's a little high for the amount of miles on it.

thanks
well it's kinda late now :O
I guess after looking around and knowing me I want a special edition car but usually cheap out and get a regular car only to want to mod it into a clone which in the end often costs more and never holds value.
So to me to get a real WS6 I guess it was worth the $$$

I have to ship it too which is going to be $800 so damm I'm getting up there. Hope it's a nice car. I'll be pissed if I get hosed like I did another time.

its my understanding that there was not an upgraded WS6 exhaust. there was just the WS6 exhaust. it happened to be different that the regular LT1 exhaust. im not sure of the differences though. so that SLP exhaust is a cat back that someone put on there. not sure how good it is.

as far as the restriction in the exhaust system. the manifolds are the main restriction. i am actually planning on putting a random technology dual cat y pipe on my car. i like the way it sounds but of course i want some power gains. i should see some gains, but it may not be as much as changing the cat back.

That's an LS1 WS6 and SS catback, I have a 2002 WS6 catback on my Z28.

That's what I was thinking, but I'm not terribly familiar with the Trans Am stuff since I have a Z28. Good call.

Why would someone put a 2002 cat-back on a car. Unless it was free, I would have spent the same amount of money that it would cost and get a better flowing one.

I only spent $70 on mine and it was in perfect shape, I'm probably going to get a hooker catback when I get some money though. Sounds a bit throatier and LS1 people say you barley pick up any hp if anything with an aftermarket catback over it, so it was cheap HP for me.
