No offense to anybody who has done it, but what is the point of buying a 40 dollar replacement stick after buying a pro 5.0 shifter. I bought a Pro 5.0, and cut an inch and a half off the threads, and the stick with the stock shifter **** only sticks above the console by 4 inches or so. It's a comfortable position, and a firm, short shift.

I have the B&M ripper shifter and for a comparison to stock as far as throws go, when i took her for the first good run after the install, when i shifted to 2nd *real* fast my hand came clean off the shift **** because i was used to the shifter coming back farther.

when i was doing the install, quite a few people indicated the t-56 has its own internal stops, i didn't install them and i have plenty of shift in 3rd actions done, and very spiritedly with no problems.

you'll enjoy either one of the ripper or the PRo 5.0.
