Comp 917 springs, they were on there when I got the heads.
I can have the mechanic double-check the install height.
What should they be?

I know the beehives were suposed to be 1.750" +/-.010"

1.750 is stock so ya may have got a set of locks that are long for an LT1. If the gaskets would fix it good but ya may want to check to see if the manufacturer of the ones ya got have shorter ones and return those.
