does anyone know the stock temp setting on the 94 camaro z28 thermostats?
im interested in getting a lower temp thermostat...i heard it was 200 and if so i was goin to change to a 180 thermostat.......

 

Stock thermostat is 180.

 

If you are changing it, you might as well go with a 160, otherwise the difference will be minimal.

 

Changing the thermostat alone won't help a thing. It will only help when used in conjunction with a manual fan switch and/or earlier PCM cooling fan activation (from a PCM reprogram).

To clarify, the 160 thermostat does nothing by itself, except make your car take longer to warm up.
