Whats the bigest cam you guys have ran with the stock stall?My buddy has a custom heads and cam but might not have the cash 2 redo the the tranny so leavin the stock stall and tranny in for a few months.How will it act with a 232/240 at 50 dur cam with stock stall?

 

I ran a gm847 with stock stall and gears. It will work... its sluggish off the line and when your each 2000 rpm it will pull all of a sudden and you have to back off on the throttle again.

Then again, thats exactly how the late 80s 300 series mercedes turbo diesel drives, thei drivers just get used to it.
