Does it matter what direction the oil port is pointing on the stock roller lifters in a 93 LT1? I pulled the lifters to inspect and clean them but didnt pay attention to which direction the small oil port in the side of them was pointed?

 

No. They can only go 2 ways because of the dog bone keepers.

 

depending on where in the lifter it is, I point them either to the rear or to the inside/center of the engine
