What would be the best way to get the maximum amount of horsepower. Some LT1 heads that are fully porteds and polished, or some after market port and polished heads. either set of heads would have a custom ground cam. would there be a big difference in horsepower, if so how big?? also how big of a difference would the price be?? thanks for your help.

Doesn't seem like it but thats kind of a vague question. It depends on what your looking for and willing to spend. A good P&P job could cost you anywhere from 500 to 1200. Then you have stage 1,2,3 and some even 4 heads which run the gammit in $$$$$$$. What are you looking for and what are your goals for your car. HP and 1/4 times wise....along with budget.

 

Don't forget if you have deep enough pockets there is 18 and 15 degree heads too
