stock lt1 wrist pins

Can anyone tell me if they have 2 be pressed out and in?I have a guy building a motor for me and doesnt have it apair and said he I may have 2 have a machine shop press the pins into the new pistons.Can anyone comfrim this?Thanks

If you are taking the stock rods off of your pistons then yes, If you have new rods and pistons then it will depend on weather your new pistons are floating pin or pressed pin. Stock LT1 piston wrist pins are pressed in.

yup that was the ? about the stock rods.Lookin to go with the summit rebuild kit with forged pistons.So if anyone knows about them that would be awsome.Thanks alot!!!
