Stock HP peaks at wheels

I'm wondering from those who have done stock dyno testing what RPM did your horsepower peak at? I dynoed awhile back and my car peaked at 4800 rpm which seemed a little low. Just a thought but if you could let me know that would be great!!

A stock LT1 will have a very flat HP curve from about 4800-5800. Any blip in that range could generate the peak HP. So unless it drops off dramatically after 4800, it's fairly normal. You might post the graph...

That basically explains it all. You'll find that the prime operating range for a stock LT1 is between 4k and 5.8k. Generally your peak will be between 5k and 5.4k because each car will vary. Doesnt mean peak power at 4800 RPM is bad, just a little below average.
