Stock Heads + CC306 + TH350 w/3800stall equals????

Combo goes a little like this:
Engine:
0 mile LT1- new rings, bearings, blah blah blah

CSI Electric Water Pump
Heads/Valvetrain:
Stock head milled a tad and new valve job
Crane dual coil springs (up to .730 lift)
Comp locators, retainers, and locks.
ISKY adjustable guide plates
Comp ProMagnum 1.6 R/R's NSA
CM Hardend Pushrods
Comp 'R' lifters
CC306 Cam
Cloyes Double Roller
Transmission:
Built Th-350 with hardend sprag and kevlar clutches

I am hoping for a high 11, I just want to know how much weight the T/A will need to loose to get it. Also, what kind of 60' do you think this setup could pull?

High 11's should be attainable with that combo. I ran 12.36 @ 111 lifting off for the 2-3 shift on my tired 4L60E.

How would you guys rank this combo, I really went out of my way to not just throw a bunch of unmatched parts together. Lots of nights of thinking about each part, just wondering what you guys would have done differently?

Your combo looks ok to me but I would do a bit more work on the heads. At least get some race-flows or ferrea 6000 back cut valves with a bit of bowl work. The CC306 is a pretty high winding cam and will benefit with a good breathing head. If it were me, I would go 4.10 on the gears with the turbo 350. Are you considering a 52mm throttle body? I like your stall choice - should match up great with your combo. Are you getting your rods fitted with good ARP's? I saw you were studding the mains so you should probably also do the rods for insurance. It should fly. Oh yea, MadZ tune!

Re: Stock Heads + CC306 + TH350 w/3800stall equals????

I am running ARP main bolts and had the block line honed, and I had the rods resized with the ARP rod bolts. I really want to do some head work, but I think I want to test the limits of the stock head first (anther way to say that this combo has costed me sooo much that I cant afford heads )

The 3.73's might leave a little on the table, but damn, I couldnt imagine a 3spd with 4.10's

I figure later on down the road, I can get the heads done by LE or AI and really tell the difference.

This car is going to see about a 70-30 mix, 70% track, 30% street.

If she doesnt do 11's like this, I will strip her down, and then she will

Im just wondering how long the 10bolt will last with ET Streets!!
