Heavily ported stock casting the fastest I have ever seen recorded was : 9.97@138.749

 

Don't think calling it heavily ported is all that accurate a description, well ported would be. There are others who routinely remove much more material in porting these exact castings.

At any rate here is the rest of that story.

so this isn't on motor...its with nitrous? So your looking for the fastest power adder lt1 with ported stock lt1 heads...thats way different than your original post.

And since we are talking ported heads now there is a bracket 66 vette with stock ported heads lt1 running low 9.90s. All motor

Street car is all relative. You have a th400 and a 9" (likely a cage too).

Abare's car still has a 4l60e (overdrive). Everyone has different levels of what is streetable.

And FYI, I believe z8's 8second pass was on ported lt1 heads.

 

I wouldn't brag and try to prove anything....There are faster cars than that on motor that are streetable
