whats the fastest stock headed lt1?

I have seen one alittle faster than that 10.15

are we talking bone stock heads or worked stock(lt1) heads.

Bone stock castings....3 angle valve job keep in mind this is not a street car

well they have had stock elem cars go in the 9s. they are suppose to have "bone stock" heads.

well thats what i'm talking about...no LT1 stockers in the 9's that I know of
a LT4 only problem that didn't come stock in many f-bodies,

Yea I have seen a stock eliminator car go 10.30's. A 150 shot on top of that would easily put it in the 9's.

I don't know anyone with a stock elim that would run nitrous on it....a stock motor is not cheap and not tuned for nitrous since its not legal

well...those stock elem heads may "qualify" for stock elem but I've never seen a stock head run 4000+.

thats what some of the heads on the faster stock elem heads cost around here.

I understand that. I am saying if you tuned it for nitrous it would easily be in the 9's with stock heads.

my heads are proted. but the car is pump gas,radio works,heater works, stock k member + a-arms ect. almost stock wieght


i am looking for the fastest ported stock headed lt1

i also look around and see aftermarket headed cars going what mine does and some are a little fast but not very much so is it really worth the other 2- 3tens for 2500 to 4500 more dollars
