Stock gear options???

I'm looking at getting a '94 or '95 z28 and was wondering what options for rearends these came with?? If there is more than one, what would be best for speed, quickness(trap speeds) and which would be better for fuel economy, or would there be a difference?

Jeff

EDIT: i'm looking at manuals, if that clears anything up.

automatic ones have either a 2.73(GU2)or 3.23(GU5),all 6spds got the 3.42's(GU6)normally theres about a .1-.2 sec difference in the 1/4 between the 2 auto's,(trap speeds are about the same (98-100mph)while the 2.73's may get 1mpg better.BTW,I wouldn't let a rear end axle be the "deciding"factor when buying a Z,get the nicest, best kept one, with the lowest miles you can afford, you could always put a set of 3.42's in
