stock crank and rods with forged pistons good for a D-1?
stock crank and rods with forged pistons good for a D-1?
Im thinkin about putting together a quick little motor. i was wondering if i reused the stock crank, rods(out of the stock block when i took it out of my 96) rebuild the motor with just forged pistons..if that would be enough to handle a D-1 with around 12psi. Thanks-Mark

I don't see why not, get some good pistons and let her rip.
I am thinking about putting my D1SC on my stock longblock with about 6 or 7lbs of boost with my FMIC.

would these pistons work?

they are -22CC JE extreme inverted 23deg. pistons(to go with my 52cc heads)..now i just need to find a headgasket with around a .4x thickness.
