Exclamation Stock bottom end OK with nitrous 125 shot?!

Well I thought I had everything ordered for my Lt1, when a few of my buddies started to laugh at me for thinking I would be ok with a stock bottom end and a 125 shot of dry ZEX nitrous. I heard around the forums that I should be fine, what do you guys think? I will have a cc306, 1.6 Crane gold rr's, trick flow pushrods, 52mm throttle body, kn cai, granatelli maf, mad z28 tune, perf. springs, stock lifters, and a full engine rebuild with about 15 K miles on it (head port, .030 overbore, valve job, ect). The only thing is there is NO proof of the engine rebuild from the guy I got the car from, lol.... so it COULD have the 125K that the odometer shows (definately has had an upper rebuild, there is proof of that). Worse case scenario is a 125K mile bottom end taking the 125 shot.....will I be ok? I have 315's in the rear with a panhard rod, torque arm, subframe connectors, t/a girdle with bearing protection, 3.73's NOW but 4.10s purchased for later, lower control arms, 6 spd with short shift and dual stage centerforce clutch (not sure if you guys needed to know that stuff in determining the stress on the engine). Thanks for your opinions ---

Get rid of the Granatelli unless you have wideband proof it is helping deliver a proper AFR.
Next for a dry shot consider upgraded injectors required.

After that, I wouldn't bother with LESS than a 125 shot the LT1 in stock form will take that with no problem. If the bottomend was done the quality of the build whould be a concwern we can not help you with.

Are you doing a single stage or a dual stage? The single will be much more violent than a progressive stage system.

okay assuming the engine holds im going to say that 10 bolt is going to be in a thousand pieces with that M6 tranny, mods, big tires, and nitrous, maybe not though. it might last a little while, if you stay away from the high rpm clutch drops.

teh CC306 requires too much R's for most stock bottoms.... specialy on the bottle... but 125 should be good on a stock motor...

ill tell you one thing..my first (of 3) transams had 130,000 EXTREMELY BEAT TO F*CK miles on it..and i prolly went through a bottle of 100shot a week for a whole summer..and i went through about 2 bottles of 150 shot..no problem whatsoever..as long as you change your oil ALOT(i did mine every 2,000 miles at most) and changed my plugs once a month.. and just took care of it. IF you take the proper precautions It should be no problem. Also..I live by NX...those selenoids are awsome.

You should be fine, people run 100-150 shots on stock bottom ends all the time and live to tell the tale. Just make sure your fuel and ignition systems are in good shape before spraying.

I've been hitting mine with 150 and I think it's begging for more.

NICE!!! The zex came with a fuel management system and I will have a high flow inline fuel pump, and those 30# injectors, then I will be using the mallory digital display 685 with the window and timing retard; I should be fine---
