Question Stock 93 Lt1 Which Cam?

I have a stock 93 LT1 Z28, with 196k on her.
I have a set of heads and 1.6 rockers, and intake off a 94 Vette.
I'm thinking of putting together a short block and putting them on. What is the best cam for stock heads? I was wondering about the CC306 my friend has one on his 97 SS or I have been hearing about the CC503.
Just wanted some advise from other F-body people on this one.
I''m just looking for a little bit more power out of her.

Thankyou

Headers

I will be installing headers also, i'm tired of the manifolds and not being able to access the spark plugs.

It doesn't always make it better, mine are still a pain in the ***, but it might depend on the brand you buy.

I will keep that in mind. I havent installed headers yet since 3 of my manifold bolts have broken off in the head so I was going to wait til I pulled it out to repair that. I was just wondering which Camshaft would be best for stock LT1 heads

the 503 is basically the equivalent to the hotcam they are mild cams. Let me say they are not the same though before someone bashes me for that comment they are similar. I would go with 306 and get some porting done on the heads if they are lt1 heads. I deffintly would put them on the 196k mile motor though. So a rebuild is a deffinate.

Thanks, I wasnt going to even try to add anything to engine in it now. It still has 165psi of compression in the cylinders but I dont want to just build the top end. Anyhow appreciate it.. I was leaning towards the 306

You'll get mixed results regarding the CC306 on stock heads. The CC305 or CC503 might be better choices.
