Still when its hot

Ok I got alot replaced so far: IACV, computer, harness, plugs , wires, MSD coil, ICM, Optispark, ECT,Knock, 19 lb injectors (I got some 24 pounders coming , mine were BAD! it looked like somebody wiped them across a turd before installing them), TPS, and MAP. The MAF is a new from Granetelli and I swapped it with a working one from a buddies TA.
I was having alot of issues with the the ignition control module getting hot and not letting it restart. I got that new one and it acted up again. I spaced it off the head the other day with the flipping of the bolt/nut combo thinking that would fix it. Well it acted up again yesterday and that was whn I did the MAP and it seemed to help but was still sputtering down the street. It could have been just because it cooled? I didnt make it home again and had to be towed for the 3rd time. When I got home I extended the ICM wires so I could place it on the fender away from the motor completely.
After that I let it run till it got up to 220 and it sat there for about 5 minutes. It started to sputter some but it wasnt as bad as its been. If I revved it a little it would smooth back out for a minute or so and go back to sputtering again. Now I do have an A/F ratio meter and have it hooked up to the drivers side OX. I had it hooked up to the pass side OX but it seemed to be all over the place.

Is it because I have smaller injectors than needed? is the pass side OX dead outta the box? it was brand new. it has a new fuel pump and filter so I know thats ok. The injectors had only 8,000 miles when they came outta the 02 Mustang I got them out of

I for got to say that I have a pass side header leak. Could that be causing problems other than the crappy sound? could it be doing all that I said above?

An exhaust leak will definitly make it run bad, allowing air in which the O2 sensor sees as a lean condition. It will richen the mix....fix it

Have you tried getting a different thermostat? That, along with some programming for your fans, will definitely let it run cooler. Later,

Brian

good point. Ill go get a new thermo tommorrow. I already had Brain at pcm4less program it for lower temps for the fans, but odd point is ,and I have talked to him about this, is that the first one comes on right after start up and stays on. It did that before and after I swapped out ECTs being as I thought it might be that cuz it was coming on earlier than it should.

I did the gaskets again today, it still leaks! Im about to order some more and send these back being as they are not even 2 months old and leaking. I think they are warped somehow. Probably me over tightening them
