Step by step cylinder head procedure

Im doing a head swap and need step by step instructions. Where would I find the most complete ones? I see bits and pieces here and there but there are so many little things to do to do it right.

since you can't find one that is good enough for you, why don't you try to make one for yourself to share?

You could pick up a factory manual.

HP Books "How To Rebuild Small-Block Chevy LT-1/LT-4 (sic) Engines" by Mike Mavrigan is an excellent reference - even if he did erroneously put the hyphens in LT1/LT4. ISBN: 1-55788-393-9

When I bought it I noticed that too.

A must have for any LT-1 owner.

Everything, but the heads, can be found on my site.

I used Shbox site when I did mine, IIRC the only thing that I had to look for elsewhere were TQ numbers for the heads. Which IIRC I used the search on this site to find.

IMO a head swap on an LT1 is quite easy. Dont be intimdated

I bought this a few years back to use when I did a rebuild but it has lots of good info for a head swap also.

You should be writing the 'How To' books.
