I'm having some starting issues?? 99% of the time the darn things starts beautiful, but every so often it just doesn't! It cranks and cranks and then sputters and really wants to start but it just doesn't? I'll let it sit for a few and try again and the same thing. When i give the pedal a few kicks while starting, it starts reluctantly with the cloud of death belching out of the pipes.... sounds rich too me?? Something is wrong, and someone has got to have some advice here?

I've had a leaky fuel pressure reg, fixed it
even thought my injectors may be leaking, bought new ones.

What next?.....

 

Have you ruled out the optispark? That's a traditional symptom of a crapping opti. Also might want to check that you're getting adequate fuel pressure in the rails.

 

Yeah, the whole opti thing is always at the back of my mind. No way to check the opti though is there? Just gotta change it huh? And the rails are pressurized with fuel....I checked that.
