starting problem
starting problem
94 s-10 blazer 4.3 vortec will not start unless i use starting fluid on it, then it runs fine, i shut it off and try to start it right back up and it will not start with out the starting fluid.

I'm not formiliar with the 4.3 but I'll bet your fuel pump is powered like the LT1's through the relay OR through the oil pressure switch. More than likely your fuel pump relay is bad or has a bad connection and the fuel pump is being powered by the oil pressure switch. Once the engine cranks fast enough, the oil pressure goes up, the pressure switch cuts in and the fuel pump is powered up. Pull the relay, check it out of the vehicle and check the connections at the relay socket. I'd put money on it.
If that isn't the problem, the alternative is the spider injector system. Not cheap so I hope it's the relay.
