Starting issues and a few questions

Ok, I just got my Jet-Hot LT's installed a week or so ago and just installed a MSD 6a w/new MSD 8.5mm wires. Now occasionally (twice so far) when I turn the key, the motor turns over good and strong but it doesn't start. If I keep it turning over for about 5 seconds then let off about 3-4 times, then it sluggishly starts but runs fine after a second or two. Don't know if the new mods have anything to do with it but though I'd say what's been done recently. Also, my intake elbow is ripped up pretty good and needs replaced. (new one ordered and should be here soon) A friend of mine "wedged" some folded up cardboard to push the elbow up against the TB tighter to try and help the seal. (could that be the problem??)

Also, I'm thinking of replacing the injectors in a month or two when I have the rocker arms replaces with 1.6's, the TB replaced with a 58mm, and the intake manifold ported polished, what injectors do you guys recommend?

Thanks for the info/help and sorry so long.

I would see what happens after you get that elbow replaced. Not a good thing to have rips and holes in it.

that torn up elbo is not helping anything, but it might be something else. before you start your car try this:
Turn the key to the asseories possition; you'll hear the gas pump prime itself in the back of the car. then turn the key to the off possition, then back to the assesories postition, let it prime again. And now start the car. if it starts with little problems/cranking time it might be that your gas pump is crapping on u.
