Starter Slowly Dying?

Went to turn on my car today, nothing, just sat there starin at me. No clicks or anything. I got full power to accessories so I'm thinking the solenoid on my starter is dying. Went to start it 5 minutes ago and it started just fine. I figure since I'm doing a LT install soon I might as well throw in a new starter to be safe. Anyone have any other guess as to what it could be? Also is there a huge differance in the Lt4 starter vs. the LT1 starter? Isn't the LT4 a bit longer making it hell on an LT install?
