Starter install Site??
I think i may have starter wanting to go out--it makes a noise when im trying start my car--When they put in my new cam would they have to move that stuff around??Just a CC-502 cam was installed only--Would there someting easy i could check--a site on how to on a 97 Z Thanks Dwayne
Re: Starter install Site??
They should not have been anywhere near the starter for a cam swap. Is it squealing? If so , you may need to get a shim kit to get proper spacing from the flywheel/ flexplate
Re: Starter install Site??
Am I missing something here? With all those mods you have you don't know how to install a starter? If its the same starter I'm thinking of, it has two bolts you remove, and it drops down, then you remove the two wires that are connected to the back. Im confused.
Re: Starter install Site??

Thanks anyway Dwayne -- P.S, i just got the CC-502 installed by a shop mechanic, thats why i was asking, since his shop is way across town, thought i could save the trip

Wasn't hating. But will give some helpful advice, that if you do some of your own work, you will learn things, and save ALOT of money. Pick up a Chiltons manual from the local book store for 20 bucks and you will learn all kinds of things! Sorry if I came off as a smart ***.
