Starter harness wires questions? pcm/sensor ground wire

Starter harness wires questions? pcm/sensor ground wire

what gauge wire is the pcm/sensor ground wire that grounds to the passenger side oil pan? i cut it and need to extend it some.

also what does this effect if not hooked up?

18 gauge. It grounds a lot of things (incl. fuel pump relay and MAF), so it would be best to have it hooked up.

sorry but i would like to know the stock location that this wire grounds? anyone have pics, i have it bolted to the oil pan and dont like it looks ghetto

The stud comes out of the block and the shield is also attached with it.

qft, pass side of course its pretty easy to see when you get under there.

what colors are the ground wires to the pcm also does any one know what the two wires are that kinda look like ground wires coming out of the harness by the coil any help would be great thanks.

You can look on my website for all PCM connections. The ringed terminals on the coil stud are grounds.

shoebox i put a test light up to it and the wires by the coil with the ringed terminals one is a black wire (ground) the other was a hot wire and it has two wires going to one ring terminal orange i think i know its hot cause i grounded the test light when i checked it any ideas? also the wires coming out of the harness on the pass side by the o2 sensor plug i bought a roller and somebody cut some wires what a pig.

I'm tellin' ya', the ring terminal wires are grounds. The two tan/white wires are PCM grounds. The black one is for the O2 sensors, ICM and a/c clutch. The ring terminals go on the coil stud. They can't be anything other than grounds.
