Started the Stroker, Got a question. Tech's inside please

Ok,

Started the stroker. At first it was only running on 4 injectors but then figured out where the other wire went to fire the others. 95 engine harness on a 94 car. some wires had to be manipulated . Oh well everything looks great in data master. Only problem im getting is a little knock at idle. (not audible) but shows up on data master. Have none at all with touch of throttle. It is on open headers.

What I am most concerned about. Is I have a little vibration around 2,000 rpm's. I really dont think its a miss just feels like its vibrating. The tranny isnt hooked up so the only thing holding the motor in is the motor mounts. Its at a slight tilt because no tranny to hold motor up. Would this cause the motor to vibrate I wouldnt think so but just a little worried. The motor is externally balanced and the flywheel motor was balanced to is the one used.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

You have no load on the engine at this time...I would believe that it could just be harmonics that is causing the vibration. Put the trans in, hook it up and then fire it up, if its still there i would then address the concern at that point. I would not worry all to much thus far...

Take 'er easy,

Erik
