Started on my dual 3" exhaust over the axle.
Ive been working on my exhaust setup all day. Going 3" mandral bent over the axle on the passenger side. At this point I have the exhaust above the axle. I build brakets to relocate the Panhard bar and upper panhard brace. Here is a quick Pic of the exhaust in the driveway. Once I get the car up and running and im sure the exhaust will fit I am going to do some sort of an x-pipe or h-pipe.

One of my buddies is already telling me his gunna want a set eventually. This takes a lot of time. I dont have a pipe bender so I just bought a bunch of U-bends at the hot rod shot and Im peicing it together. I need to go back tomorrow and get a couple more bends and some muffelers. I think I can fit a chambered muffler. Ill probably pick up a couple flowmaster 40 series tomorrow. |

I'm thinking you could make a template and a jig not only to piece it together and weld it, but also showing where to cut each piece.
Stick it in one jig, mark and cut. Stick it in the other jig, tack and weld. :) |

How do you guys think both tips exiting on one side of the car would look? It would make life much easier.

Re: Started on my dual 3" exhaust over the axle.
What would be even better is to put an X-pipe setup in the middle. Would change the sound quite a bit.

I dunno. One of those things I'd have to see in person to judge.

Re: Started on my dual 3" exhaust over the axle.
Incorporate an x-pipe and split the pipes at the rear bumper, and you'll have a winner.
