Longtubes. You can pick up pacesetters for around 285 new (uncoated).

i'd get a decent catback first, then start saving up for the headers.

can also look for smaller things like cooler thermostat and suspension

 

I agree.. Also 1.6 rockers would be a cheap one aswell

 

Few have an extra C-note ppp to throw into the bottomless abyss of the Lt1 F-Body. If you have extra dinaro, I suggest you save it up until you have enough to do the job right or position yourself financially to make a sound dicision regarding your finances. Pretty good eh?

 

put it in the bank, save till you can afford a honda civic to drive every day. save up another 1600 and add an le1 package with all the trimmings. your done.

 

Costs more than 1600 to do it. Its costing me 1800 just to do a cam and all the supporting parts.

 

A mail-order tune is cheap and yields some very good results.

thats about the order i did mine in and it all worked out very well. i'm sure i missed something. You start and you get addicted, this is like crack.

 

Does installing a larger cam in a speed density car throw the computer into fits?

After getting my cat-back for Christmas, I would recommend just that... a good cat-back. I had a weld-in flowmaster and I honestly could feel a difference between that and the full magnaflow (my wife picked up my magnaflow off Ebay for less than $300 shipped but there are board sponsors that will match their price... always support them ).

 

Umm...everyone keeps telling me to do a throttle body bypass and my car is fuel injected!
