Stalling when shifting into reverse (cold start)

Very quick rundown on my setup (only pertinent stuff listed, I think)...

383 LT1, 4L60E (vacuum modulated), 2800 stall Vig, 216/224 cam, 37# injectors, numerous programming modifications.

On a cold start (after the car has been sitting for 8-10 hours), the car will stall after shifting into reverse. The condition usually goes away after 10 minutes or so of driving. Shifting into a forward gear doesn't stall the engine. However, the engine will idle itself down and attempt to stall at least a few times within the first 10 minutes. It will drop down to about 500-600 RPMs, I'll give it a bit of gas, then it will swing up and down a few times before evening out.

My mechanic and I spent a while yesterday messing with the programming some more...nothing looked too out of the ordinary. I also swapped in a 180* thermostat in place of the 160* since I was freezing my butt off on the way to work. We have it set to enter closed loop at around 79.5* C (was messed up from the last program, so we fixed that) and we bumped the idle speed up across the board hoping that would correct the issue. Unfortunately, it didn't. It also looked like it was a little lean at idle, but not enough to be a problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where to start looking next? Any help would be appreciated.

One additional note...I think that the IAC might be to blame. It's the only component that hasn't been replaced yet and it took a good blasting of carb cleaner the last time I had the intake off. I was unaware at the time that you're supposed to keep it oiled, so it may be a factor in all of this. Would that have anything to do with it, or is it something else?

One more TTT, then I'll let it die.

Any ideas?

mine does that too , but it only need to run for a min or so to warm up enough not too. I shot some wd-40 down the iac hole (in between the throttleblades , the bottom hole) after I found out it was supposed to be oiled. Im having other idle issues tho , whats your IAC count at idle in park ???

Not sure what the IAC count is...I'd have to run it back over to my mechanic's place and have him scan it again, which I can't do until this weekend.

Warming mine up doesn't seem to help...before the latest program change, it would stall if I just let it sit in park after a couple of minutes. I'm not sure if it still does that now...I haven't started it and let it sit long enough to find out. I guess I'll have to do that too before I leave work tonight. It's still acting funny at low speeds with no throttle...the RPMs still bounce around and it still tries to stall out even after bumping the idle speed up. A few minutes after it does it the first time, it tends to work itself out and run OK.
