Re: stalling

You're not getting an answer cause you didn't provide info on the car such as year, mods etc. At the top post you said it stalls and then pulls. In the bottom post you said it stalls. Are the problems the same? Sounds more like it looses power momentarily which sounds like fuel. But then you also said you ruled out the fuel pump so it would appear that you have the situation in hand and don't need our help.

My question is how did you rule out the fuel pump? If it were my car, I would ride around with a fuel pressure gage visible from the drivers seat so I could monitor the fuel pressure when the problem occurs. But then again, I have a digital fuel pressure gage mounted on the A pillar so I can see the pressure all the time.

1994 z28 a4 and idk what i was thinkin i didnt rule out the fuel pump
but it does stall at high rpm then pull then stall...it sounds like fuel to me too...i got on it last nite and it stalled for a long time and then when i pulled up to a light after that it was missin and shaking...then it idled in my driveway for a minute and stopped missing...and it bogs badly under load...does want to downshift or anything
