ok soo i have a complete stock z28 1995 with 150 k miles today....i want a lower end torque mod but i was wondering on a 2800 stall since it wouldnt need programming?? any thoughts???its an automatic ?? what kind of tranny is it?? just wondering since im getting a B&M megashifter put in?? is it a turbo 350?? 400?? thanx for any ideas...

 

There are no aftermarket shifters for our transmissions, and... do NOT shift it manually. They are electronically controlled and not intended to be shifted manually. It is a 4L60E......pretty much an electronically controlled 700R4 a.k.a. 4L60. A B&M megashifter will not work. I personally wouldn't put a stall converter in a stock tranny w/ 150k miles on it.......I would rebuild the whole thing first.

I actualy am buying a stall convertor myself for my 95Z. We have a 4L60E transmission. Make sure you get a lockup convertor.

Your tranny will HATE you if you run a stall. If you want to give it a shot anyhow get a good trans cooler
