I have a 95 A4 OBD I stock setup, I can get a good deal on a 2800 stall ($150 slightly used)...

My question is what all will need to be bought to accompany this to make sure I don't tear anything up on my driveline/engine?

 

Depending on who makes the conveter, you will need gears. About a 3.73 to make sure the lock up feature will operate properly. You will also need a tranny cooler because of the high temps that are created from a high stall converter. Both of these items are important if you expect your tranny to live.
