Stall with new cam?

I was wondering anyone know what converter I would have to get to support an LT4 hot cam or a CC305 or CC306? Would the stock one support it cause i belive it stalls at around 1800? So I would maybe look at getting something around 2400 or 2800 right?

It really depends on what you plan on doing with the car. I have the 224/230 XE with the idle @ 850. On the stock TC, it would creep a bit at stops, but it wasn't horrendous. I went with a 2400 recently simply because it's a daily driver and I'm not too concerned about what it'll do at the track. I just wanted some driveability back. That did the trick. Definitely get a trans cooler with the cam whether you've got a higher stall in at that point or not.

CC306 or XE 230/236 I'd personally go with a 3200 stall...in my case I'm just going to hold on to my 2800 stall and hope for the best...
