which stall is better?

Ok I'm getting into a subject I know very little about...the stall converter. I am looking at the B&M series of stalls but really not sure what to look for.

I'm running a 4L60E with a TransGo shift kit in it. My options are the Tork Master or Holeshot...but I'm not sure what stall I need or what will work the best for me.

My motor is slightly modified, with larger TB, Hotcam Kit, and all the bolt ons I could afford. I was thinking the Holeshot 2400 sounded like a good deal but really need someone who knows about these things to help me out.

Thanks guys

Have you looked at Midwest converters, if I was gonna go cheap thats the way I'd go. I bought a Precision 3200 and love it!

can anyone suggest a specific brand and p/n or atleast the name of someone who knows alot about these? I need to figure out exactly what I need before I spend this large sum of money. I mean every little bit helps but I think I need a professional.

MIdwest is a good converter.

The one who said that doesnt know to much about midwest.

I have 2 of them and love them both. I will put my midwest 3800 billett converter against any precision, j&w, bm etc. You get a 2 year warranty, 2 year free stall upgrade, and better yet it is cheaper in price not quality. The Precision is a good converter I ran one in my old ride, I have also used pro torque and now midwest. For the price and performance midwest is an awesome converter. I put one in my stock rebuild 4l60e and it only cost me 100.00 and it was an 1800 stall. the car is for daily driving so there was no need for a big stall, but for $100 ill take a bit above stock. my 9.5in billett nitrous converter was only 500.00 try that at precision, j&w, or pro torque! never happen for a regualar 10in non lockup! and lock up huh ya forget 500 try about 700 and up.

midwest 815-229-9808 ask for dennis if he is availible.

I didn't mean quality I meant price. They are good converters, I just payed for the name.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about midwest converters lately. Sounds like a great deal for a quality product.
I also have a 3200 P.I. Vigilante. You certainly can't go wrong with a VIG. or Yank. But be prepared to shell out a fair amount of dough.
Oh and with the cam, you definately want to get at least a 3000 stall.

love the vigilante 2800 stall in my car...you will wanna get a tranny cooler too!!!! that is a must when you go with a higher stall that has a lock up. You can find midwest converters and vigilantes all over this board...they both are not too bad of price for used ones...and they last forever. Vigilante is bulletproof

I wouldn't recommend B&M to anyone.
