I've never been in a car with a stall in it. what do they drive like????? do you always have to run the car upto the stall speed to get it to move??

No, it will drive pretty much like a normal car, it might feel a little hesitant at first, but you'll get used to it.

Acts like you would with a clutch. Doesnt put the full load on your engine until X rpm (3000 stall, 3600, 4400, etc)

Yeah, it's great when you jump on it and the car just stays in the powerband. Still not as much fun as a 6 speed though it is alot less of a hassle than constantly shifting gears.

My 94Z has a 2800 Vig stall in it. What is different is that I can actually go from a stop to about 55 mph while keeping the car at nearly a constant 3000 rpm It is strange but the RPM barely varies even when it shifts.... engine sounds the same and the RPM needle stays right around 3000 rpm the entire time

Doesnt that put excessive wear on your engine running it at 3000? Or are you saying that while accelerating it stays at or above 3k?

Yes, it is while accelerating. Mine is set to go into lock-up at 60mph so below that while I'm SLOWLY accelerating, I'm basically maintaining 3000 rpm or very close to it. It sounds a little odd too (nearly constant exhaust tone). It's also a bit difficult to take off from a stop when a cop is next to me since I have the 4" Mufflex with the 30 series Flowmaster on it.

Not to mention the whistle of a supercharger.

Same here, it sounds like I have two gears at the track.

Well I took a ride in a buddy of mines car, 9x supercharged firehawk with a 4k stall. That thing is LOUD, the stall didnt actually seem that bad, but you could tell it was kind of sloppy.

It sounded a little like those leaf collectors that come around my neighborhood in the fall

It was MEAN though.
