stall?
yea, if i understand it correctly it makes u idle at a higher rpms, so that when u let off of the breaks and get on the gas u jump off the line quicker and when u shift it will be at a more torqued rpm and give u harder acceleration.
It helps you get more into your power band off the line. The way I understand it is if you have a 2800 stall converter, and you power brake it, you will rev to 2800 RPM's and then your car will start creeping. If you are accelerating normally you will feel a delay untill your car hits 2800 RPM's, and then it will start moving. An A4 guy might be able to explain it better to you than I can.
