Which stall?

I am considering getting a torque converter around 2800 stall. My mods are in sig and the only other one I plan on getting is Jet Hot LT's and a y pipe w/ cats. I dont want to spend a bunch of money on vigi because I wont be running the crap out of it enough to break a less expensive one(or at least i dont think so). What is a good, less expensive brand that can handle about 290-300 horsepower? (street tires btw)

2800 sounds like fun

3000 sounds like more fun

i wouldn't stall higher than that though

just make sure you get a good one and not a craptastic slp one
