Stainless Works Y Pipe Without Cats

I'm 16 and low on budget and I found a stainless works Y pipe from summit with no cats. Are these any good. I don't want to spend more than $350 on a y pipe, and I also don't want the cats on it and I want a stainless steel pipe. Want the car to be louder with my mangaflow exhaust. Any suggestions?

Well its a good piece, but I think mac sells and off road y-pipe for 190.00.If your on a budget and want the car to be louder just get a cutout.its like 35.00 and another 30 to pu it in.You can always gut your cat for free.A good option is to weld another flange on before your cat and make an off road pipe your self.

Removing your cats will definitely make your exhaust louder. If that stainless peice is in your budget it sounds like you found what your looking for.

The Y Pipe that you'll need depends on the LTs that you get. Most LTs are different and will need a different y to mate up. If I were you I wouldn't waste my money on a y pipe. Just get a cutout if you want your car louder. Then once you have the extra cash in hand buy headers and get a custom y pipe made for your headers. You have two cats on your car. It wouldn't be worth your time to gut your cats for the power gain you'll get. Trust me. I removed mine last year when I did headers. You only want to do it once.

What about those shorty headers I see about, do you think those would work with a stainless works y pipe, just cuz the headers are short?
Whats the website for MAC?

I'm not sure what that y pipe would work with. Most short headers are different, meaning they hook up to a y pipe at a different point or angle. So, this y pipe you're talking about might not work once you get headers. And I can't think of a set of shorties that don't come with a y pipe. Like I said, your money is best spent elsewhere. Save your $200 untill you have $500 then you can get headers and a y pipe. Or save until you have $700 and you'll have enough for LTs. I'm not sure what Mac's webpage is.
