Thumbs up Stainless Works Y-pipe install went SMOOOOTH!

Last night I installed a stainless works offroad y-pipe on my 97, man that was too easy. Once the stock exhaust was all off and the new O2's in (and the rear sims plugged in) it took maybe 30 minutes to install, no cutting, welding, grinding, or leaks. I know some people have had problems with them, but mine fit perfectly. Came with nice stainless clamps too.

/no more clogged cats!

I hate you! lol..j/k...my pipes didnt fit at all. I couldnt even fit them together as a trail fit before I put them in. And if I did, they would get stuck. I spent a whole day of trying to get the pipes to fit so they can slip on because when your under the car you have to slide the pipes around to get it to fit. Anyhow...thats cool that yu had good luck with it..congrats.

Yeah, I was prepared for a nightmare, (it may have helped that the entire catback was out too) butI did the drivers side pipe, then the pass. side pipe, then slipped in the rear section, and finally the two straight 1' pipes to connect it all. Sure is a lot easier tightening the collectors to the manifolds without the cats in the way. I bet it would have been more difficult if I had headers on it too.
