Anyone here used them on Hooker long tubes? Did you have any trouble getting them on?Bill

 

They'll work, but the clips are a pain in the ***. Better off with ARP's, cause in the future you will probably end up leaving the locking clips off.

 

I have them on my Hookers. The only way I was able to get the locks on them was when I had the engine out of the car last year and installed the headers before putting the engine back in (from the bottom). The allen/12 pt. bolt heads are nice though.

I helped my friend put them on, the clips were a major pain when it came to the cylinders by the firewall. Otherwise, they are a good set of header bolts.

anyone have an idea why the Stage 8 header bolts i bought for my header install are too small? i got them from Speed INC. i tried putting them on with my hooker longtubes today on my 97 LT1 and the pretty much slide in and out of the hole on the head. the guy at Speed INC said they will work with LT1s too even tho it only says LS1. WTF is that.
