Stage 8 bolts question

I just replaced a blown header gasket with a felpro 1406 and this time I use the stage 8 header bolts. I got all the clips on after I tightened the bolts on 'tightly' I couldn't use a torque wrench but they seemed tight enough. Is it still necessary to retighten them? Getting the clips off to retighten seems like a pita. Any insight is appreciated.
TIA.

Overtighting Header Bolts results in leaking gaskets. Go easy on them!

I really need to buy a set of these, I was doing my plugs and just happened to touch one of my header bolts and it was nice and loose.

As tight as you can get them with a short wrench is tight enough. With the clips in place they will be fine.

Why would you do that? The whole point of the clips is so they can't back out. Therefore they should not be able to loosen.
