You hear a lot of things, That is why I asked the question here. Now I know.

I also meant since it was "rated" by GM as having more horsepower that something would have to be different(like the difference in exhaust and intake as mentioned) to allow them to legally make the claim and not get sued. I was not implying the SS was faster.

I bought mine because I always wanted one.
