Squealing noise driving me nuts...

I have a squeal/squeak coming from the front of the car, and it only does it when the wheel is turned to the left (can be slightly turned, or turned alot, still does it). I know it's not the power steering pump or anything engine-related because it gets faster as the wheels start to turn faster. It's a VERY high pitched squeal. Not very loud either.....can't hear it with the window up, and really have to listen for it when driving. The time I REALLY hear it is when it reflects off a building or something.
Any ideas what it could be?

If your brake pad is worn down near the wear indicator, sometimes turning will cause parts to deflect enough for the indicator to make slight contact, when it won't contact when going in a straight line.

Okay thanks...I'll check the pads but when I push down on the front of the car I can hear a squeal similar to the one I'm getting....any ideas? I replaced the front sway bar bushings and end links already with polyurethane ones and used the proper amount of grease. Could my shocks be worn? The car has 82,000 miles.

UPDATE

When I press the brake pedal while the squeaking noise is occurring, it totally disappears.

Somethings loose. Start with your brakes like caliper mounting bolts and move around the brake wheel area but I'll bet you'll find it in the brakes somewhere if application of the brakes stops it. Brake pads loose they do have clip to hold them in place, or a bracket maybe. I think you get the idea if you can't find it though let me know and I'll look on my car for potential problems. Let me know if you find it and what it was.

The dash panel was $86 + shipping from gmpartsdirect.com and the decals were $30 for all of them from our moderator Brent Franker (Brent94Z) - www.bfranker.badz28.com
