squeaking noise at wheels and it's not Brakes

Ok for about 4 months my lt1 has been sqeaking from under neath the front drivers side wheel well. It stops when i hit the breaks but when i'm rolling under 30 mph it sqeaks. Now it only does this if the car has been driven then parked and then drive again within 30 mins of parking. It's slowly got worse and i have no idea what to look at. It doesn't do it when i hit the break but it squeaks at rolling speeds. PLease help.

You're saying it squeaks or it squeals? If it is squealing and then stops when you apply the brakes, then yes, it is your brakes. There is a piece of metal that rubs against the rotor when it is time to change the brakes. If you don't do it soon, you're fixing to rub metal against metal and ruin your rotors.

i've also heard a slight squeal come from a wheel bearing but i dont think that would stop when you hit the brakes. sounds more like the brakes to me.

Yeah, I have the same problem too with my Bendix pads... I'll be changing them out for HAWK pads very soon so I'll see if that works.

The other night I tore apart my brake assembly to check if it was the hub or nut, no squeaks from the hub, can't even get the thing off though so I couldn't inspect the bearings. However I believe are hubs are non-servicable, just replaceable.

I would think that dust will get inside, and with some cheapo pads, the pads may bounce around on bumps causing squealing noises, nothing like metal on metal, just like a squeaky noise but it stops once pressure is applied.
