Which springs and lifters will support GM847?

I really want to upgrade to a GM847 from my current LT4 Hotcam. I am currently using stock lifters and LT4 springs and I know neither of those will support a bigger cam. So i know that comp 'r's are no good. So which ones should i go with, and which springs? Also will the 1.6rr's that came in my LT4 kit be ok for the 847? Thanks.

might wanna be careful with the stock pushrods..high RPMs can bend em..you can get a set of hardend pushrods from combination motorsports for 30$ or so. Def. worth it and they are cheap.

If ya get the beehives ya will probably get by with the stock pushrods. Ya need to check the geometery to make sure about the length. If ya are on a TIGHT budget and the length checker is within .025 of the stock length they will get ya by but ya need to replace them ASAP with the right length.

'95 have hardened pushrod's. Ya can bend a 7/16 dia pushrod.
That's why I suggested the beehives.

Re: Which springs and lifters will support GM847?

I'm Using the K-motion k-800s set at 1.90" titanium retainers 10 deg locks, trickflow 1 peice CM pushrods, Early style CC roller lifters, CC magnum 1.6 rockers.

Its been together with this stuff for almost 2 years now. I originally installed the springs as high as I could get them with the AFRs stock spring seat depth and a steel seat,(1.85) but the spring would bottom out on the exhaust side and break the stud,so I bought some spring keepers with +.050 and checked it out thoroughly and it works fine now , rev the motor close to 7000 RPM.
