What machining needs to be done to the heads for the different springs? Is it just around the base of the spring? Or is there a spring that does not require machining?

 

Just FYI I have a brand new set of the Comp recommended 986-16 springs for this cam, PM me if interested.


As for the machining youll have to pull the heads and cut the pockets to accept them, any machine shop should be able to do this.
